Hi there! My name is Alexandra Shurkhina.

I’m thrilled to introduce you to Sunshine Bunnies Home Daycare, where I care for children from 2 years old to primary school age.

We’ve been open for seven years now, and
I’m passionate about early childhood education and have extensive experience in the field. 

I’m a Level 3 holder of the Family Childcare Training Program!

Rest assured, all our safety measures are top-notch. 

My First Aid/CPR and all other necessary records checks are up to date.

We’re proud to be approved by Giant Steps Children Centre, ensuring that we meet the highest standards of care and quality.

I believe in creating an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported. 

I tailor my teaching methods to each student’s unique needs, ensuring they find a path to success.

I believe in a well-rounded education that prepares your child for the challenges of school. My classes incorporate traditional and innovative learning styles, play-based activities, and hands-on experiences to make learning engaging and enjoyable.

  My work hours are from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

I make sure to provide three healthy homemade meals every day.

The schedule in my family Daycare allows plenty of time for art and craft activities.

We also work on the alphabet, numbers, colors, pre-reading, and fine motor skills.

We have outside playtime in a dedicated fenced-in outdoor space.

Indoors, we have physical activities, games, dancing, and creative playtime.
